How to set up

    Add to Slack

    Click the button below to authorize Design Commons in your Slack workspace. You'll need to be a Slack admin or have permission to install apps.

    Choose your organization

    Select which Design Commons organization to connect to your Slack workspace.

    Configure notifications

    Go to your organization settings to choose which channels receive notifications and customize what gets posted.

Permissions we request

Design Commons requests only the permissions needed to send notifications and match users:

  • •Send messages — Post updates to channels you configure
  • •View channels — List available channels for you to choose from
  • •View users & emails — Match Slack users to Design Commons accounts
  • •Direct messages — Send personal notifications when you're mentioned

You can disconnect Slack anytime from your organization settings.
